How to apply advantage® to dogs
advantage® comes in a pre-measured applicator tube.
Once applied, advantage® spreads on the surface of the skin to provide whole body flea protection.
Simple to apply
Opening the tube
Remove one applicator tube from package.
Hold applicator tube in upright position, twist and pull off cap.
Use the opposite end of the cap to break the seal.
Applying
Remove collar prior to application. Starting at your dog’s shoulder blades, part the hair.
For small dogs, apply entire tube to one spot on the dog’s back between the shoulder blades.
For large dogs, apply entire tube to one or more points along the back line. Applying advantage® at more than one point allows the product to spread evenly over the dog.
Application tips
- If you have more than one pet, separate them for a few hours until advantage® dries to prevent mutual grooming.
- Keep your dog off furniture and hardwood floors until advantage® dries.
- Keeps working even when dogs get wet after swimming or bathing.*
- Only use advantage® on the skin of your dog – never administer orally.
*Application of advantage® should be repeated after every second bath when using pet grooming shampoos. Application should be repeated after each bath if medicated shampoo, flea shampoo, dish detergent, human shampoo or other similar products are used.
